Having heard numerous reports of other people's stays in other Hospitals but having never spent anytime in hospital myself up until this point, i was a bit apprehensive.
However i struck Gold with the after care i received from the Nursing Staff at the Bristol Heart Institute. In the 9 days i was in their care, i genuinely could not think of negative remark to make about the Nursing care i received.
During my stay in the hospital i spent time in the Catheter Laboratories, Intensive Care Unit, Critical Intensive Care Unit, Coronary Care Unit as well as recovering on Ward 51. I honestly could not praise the staff high enough for the tentative treatment i received. In paticular thanks to Sister Debbie (CCU) who shaved and washed me, ensured i ate and made it feel almost at home from home on her ward.
Also a big thanks to Senior nurse Lisa (CCU) who also who also done a great job in ensuring both my family and myself were comfortable and at ease as much as possible.
