Dr Julian W Strange MBChB, MRCP, MD
Dr Strange trained in London performing research at the Royal Brompton and Hammersmith hospitals (British Heart Foundation funded) and interventional cardiology at the London Chest hospital as well
as working at Barts & The London NHS Trust.
He then returned with his young family to the Bristol area and was an inspirational part of the opening of the Bristol Heart Institute at the Bristol Royal Infirmary where he is now the Director of the Cardiac Catheter Suite.
Dr Strange along with his colleagues have also previously completed a
200 mile bike ride around the south west to raise the final £75,000 of the £800,000 raised by the Heart Of Bristol Appeal.
His specialties are Interventional cardiology, hypertension, chest pain, non- invasive assessment of cardiac disease, cardiovascular MRI. He is also Practising at Spire Bristol Hospital. When he is fortunate enough to have spare time away from saving lives, Dr Strange enjoys spending time with his young family, running and cycling.
